Human Rights Film Festival!

Amnesty International invites the UGA and Athens community to a film festival that will open your eyes to issues from around the world. Amnesty International recognizes the power of films as a medium to educate individuals and stimulate action from the public. Our three award-winning films take an uplifting approach to fighting for human rights, and we hope these stories encourage all of us to "become citizens of the world." The festival will be hosted at Cine from March 19-21 and all viewings are absolutely FREE FREE FREE!

Information about Amnesty's goals and mission plus specific information related to each film will be available all weekend. Please take a few moments before or after watching to sign our petitions and learn more about the global human rights movement.

The festival is also a membership drive event for Amnesty International's Southern Regional office in Atlanta. You can also become an annual member with Amnesty International USA. It's $25 for adults and $15 for students.

Again, the public is welcome to watch these viewings completely FREE OF CHARGE.
